Piedmont, however, is even more famous for its wines. In this class, we will get to know this amazing region via its grapes: Dolcetto, Arnes, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. We will also explore the villages of Asti, Barbaresco, Alba, and of course, Barolo through their wines. In the past Barolo was known as the “Wine of kings, and the king of wines”. To this day, Barolo continues to hold its own as one of the most prestigious wines in Italy and the world.
